I have been told that my great-grandmother, who was in her 70's and was a little off, was put in the hospital in the 1920s. Do you have any suggestions about which places were open at this time and nearby Kenosha?

She may have died in this home, since she is not buried with either of her children.

thanks - lisa

I think Brookside would be a good guess. It was county owned. I don't think it's in operation anymore but I could be wrong. It was on Washington Rd or 38th St, which are the same, just a west of 30th Ave.

SISU!

It might have been Willowbrook Sanitarium. It was either county run or state run.
