Richard Gardnier was on the passenger list. I believe that he was 21?. It is not clear if he made it to the new world or not. He may of died during the trip. Does anyone have any information on this person.

Richard Gardiner survived the trip. He was one of the signers of the Mayflower Compact. What no one seems to know is what happened to him. Some think that he died within 6 months of having made the trip. Others think he may have returned to England. It is an interesting puzzle.

This could be Richard Gardner s/o Thomas Gardner Margaret. Richard was married to Sarah Shattuck md 1652 Salem Essex Co MA. Some of your dates seem to match mine. Richard died 23 Jan 1688, Nantucket Is, MA, he was bn ca 1622 England. Richard and Sarah had 7 children that I know of.

Deb,
No, I am not looking at the Mayflower end. What I am doing is what I have not done in the past. I have been stuck on this line for many years. I am working backwards, hoping that something will come up. My line was from MD late 1700s. The old letters say from the family that our Gardner's are of the Mayflower line. I checked out yhe Mayflower decendents and found a Gardnier. So I thought I would work from that angle. If, any decendents went to MD, I may be able to find them. Please E-mail me.
