They lived in Stochland, onderdendom, middelstam, vendam

- gurt wassner,
- jacob albert wassner
during the period 1762-1829

Hi Marg,

What Van Zetten are you looking for? My family is from Ophuesden/Kesteren, Gelderland, but originally from Lienden and Echteld. They were mostly nursery operators. I have several generations, going back to Roeleof born in 192 (possibly 1791) and Herman born 1794. These are the fathers of cousins that married, so they must be brothers, but I don't know their father's name.

Thanks, Larry Klaaren

My great-grandfather, Kasper deLange, born Dec 2, 1844, in Beerta, Groningen. His wife, Lammechien Takens, sons, Aiko and Siemon, daughters Aantje and Jantje, emigrated to US in 1893. Are you related?

I don't know if this will help or if you can help me, but my great grandfather's name was Harry Jacob Wassner and he was born in 1892. We think he was born in Germany or around there. I don't have too much information about him (my reason for searching). He was living in Colorado for a while and died in Sacramento in 1973 (according to social security records). If this helps let me know, I need all the information I can get!

I live in France, my grand father came from Alsace, a french county near germany.
I know that my ancestry came from switzerland and left this country because of the religion war (16th century). They were catholic.
We could find wassner in switzerland, austria, germany, france and US.
