Is that a triple umlaut? And at the end, a new abbreviation mark/brevigraph?

Gerdt von Wöelle? Woelleman? Woelte? Something else?

First attachment: Expanded context of previous example, including what looks like a second example of the same squiggle.

Also, who's the petitioner(s) and what's the date(s) in the first entry here? Simon Daruer, Steffan Schuelle, or both? (The sum at the bottom of the page doesn't match the number of keyed names if I include both of them.)

Second attachment: Who's the petitioner(s)? Claws Treplaw or someone else? (If I key both Claws and someone else, then the sum at the bottom of the page doesn't match the number of keyed names.)

Also, proof positive for what that number + squiggled abbreviation that follows a lot of the names in the earlier records means! "Thaler", usually abbreviated Thal or Th.

Gerdt von Wöelle.
I have seen that from time to time. O don't know what that squiggle is either.

looking at Simon Daruer and Steffan Schuelle. I would include both, to be on the save side, even if the number on the bottom does not tally.

Thaler was a currency used in many European countries. It is the fee to be paid for the privilege to become a Lübeck citizen.
