[Apr 1936] Duncan Manuel, 76, died at his home near Unison, after a long illness. Mrs. Manuel died seven months ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. F. M. Saunders, at home; Mrs. W. E. Sinclair, near Unison; J. O. Manuel , Fort Belvoir; Orian T. Manuel, Middleburg; Mrs. James B. Thompson, Annandale; Mrs. Fred Hindman, Purcellville; Archibald C. Manuel, Purcellville. Services were held from the home Thursday, Elder H. H. Lefferts officiating. Interment was made in South Fork Cemetery.
