In our family we have a Catherine Hoar/Hoare dau. of John Hoare and Elizabeth Shea but she married a Michael O'Conner/Connor 1852 in chicopee. Strange, because his mother's maiden name was also Catherine Hoar.
I didn't find anything on John Hoar so far, but found Michael Connor/O'Connor and Catherine in the 1860 census of Chicopee, Mass. 1870 Census there also, and later 1880 in Holyoke. Some of their children born Front Royal Virginia.
That is as far as I went so far. Yes, from Annascaul as most of this side of my family came from, and Clash.
Please contact me.

I found this family in 1850 census of Hampden County Mass. and Elizabeth, the daughter of John Hoare might be the one who married Eugene Fitzgerald, but she died 1900.
After some more search I think her sister Catherine is connected to my family. Catherine married Michael O'Connor and they later moved to Holyoke, Mass. In the period between 1850 and 1860, the O'Connors were in Virginia and then came back to Mass, when Michael O'Connor joined the Union Army.
Let's exchange notes.

Sorry, I just realized that the rest of my information did not copy when I did my original post some months back. My great-grandparents x5 were John Hoar and Elizabeth Shea. That is as far back as I have been able to go. Their daughter, Mary Hoar married Patrick Connor and I believe they had about 8 children. Their daughter, Johanna Margaret Connor's was my great-grandmother x3 and she married James J. Brennan. If I can be of any help in updating my line please feel free to contact me.

Thanks
