Looking for family of Ebenezer Bishop b. abt 1793

I'm looking for the family of Ebenezer Bishop, b. abt 1793 in Connecticut, moved to Portage Co., Ohio by 1820. He married Annie/Anner Norton of Goshen, Conn.

Other Bishops in Portage Co., Ohio include David, Joseph, Luman, and Uriah; any of these may be related. Luman is perhaps the son of Luman Bishop 1757-1790 of Litchfield.

I saw an 1810 census entry for an Ebenezer Bishop (perhaps a father?) is in Cornwall, Litchfield Co.

Can anyone help me place Ebenezer in a loving home?

Thanks,

Wes

The following was found in "The History of the Town of Goshen" 1897.
da.of Alexander Norton and Rhoda Collins.

"Anna Bronson Norton,b.12 Jan. 1797. m. Ebenezer Bishop of Cornwall, removed to Nelson,O and thence to Wis.d._____.
Children;Edmund,b.1818; Hiram,d.______.Collins,m.______.
Louisa,m.________. Rhoda,m._______. David; Sarah.
There is a listing of marriages taken from the "Records of the Town Clerks Office with a notation"Town Records lost".
Those lost are between,13 Apr.1786 to Aug 21, 1820.
Anna has 6 siblings. Hope this is your Anna.
The history was written by The Rev.A.G.Hibbard A.M.
based on the records of Deacon Lewis Mills Norton.

Yes, thank you, Anna and Ebenezer are my 5GGparents.

The Norton line seems to be fairly well documented, but if you see anything else on Ebenezer Bishop's ancestry or generally on connections to Bishops from Cornwall CT, that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks again for the reference!

Wes
