James Williamson was born in Reading PA in 1753, his parents were James and Jane (Davies) Williamson, they were married in the First Presby. Church of Philadelphia on Aug 27, 1743. It is that they came here from Wales. James jr. fought in the battles of Brandywine, Princeton, Germantown, Monmouth, and wintered at Valley Forge during the American Revolution. His pension was issued Sept 11, 1832, at which time he was 77 years old. his certificate number is 25734, and you can get a copy of his pension papers from the national archives. Please write back and we can compare data. I am working on the family tree file (GEDCOM) right now and I will let everyone I have contact with, know when it is done.
