Gregg's Battery Co. D, Manigault's Battalion Artillery, South Carolina Volunteers, in the Confederate States Provisional Army. Soldiers from Marion County, South Carolina. I am researching, specifically, William Pinckney Horn. He was killed at the Battle of Davis Farm, August 18, 1864. I am curious about the location and specifics about this battle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
