I am the Clan Convener for MD, DC and VA, where do you live? If you can give me a bit of info on your ancestors, I will see what if anything I may have on file. Also, if you have not already done so, please send an email to chascum@aol.com asking he add your address to the Cummin(g)s Newsletter. It comes out bi-weekly with messages from all Cummin(g)s researchers, and you will find it very worthwhile reading. Let me hear from you, Pat

Hi Pat..re Genealogy Program., See my Everett Owen tree. Got as far back as James C who wed(?) Mary McLaughlin and they had 3 children christened in Paisley Abbey, Robert 1753- Margaret 1756- and George 1756-. At this time Paisley was expanding rapidly thro weaving , so James and Mary may or may not have married in Paisley, and they could have been local or come from anywhere. Any help appreciated. Regards Brian Everett

Hi Pat. I am very interested in your genealogy program. Please see my Everett Owen tree. I have got back as far as James Cumming and Mary McLaughlin, who produced 3 children all baptised in Paisley Abbey. Robert 1753- Margaret 1756 and George 1760. Any input if available will be much appreciated. At this time Paisley was growing very rapidly thro weaving work. and I fear that James and Mary may not have originated in Paisley.
