Gene,
Thanks very much for offering your help. I also have the Kilrush records but one entry is unclear and vitally important to me as this is where my research stops.
In Marriages: Feb 14, 1831 entry 167
John Purtill of ???????????? m. in Kilrush Chapel to Margaret Lynch daughter to Thomas ????????? ?????????
On my records there is also an indication "dead' - who do you think this refers to - entry 167 or 168?
Are your records any clearer?
Appreciate your help.
Grace

My great grandfather, James Morrissey was born 13 August 1829 in Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland. His parents were James Morrissey and Katherine Greene. There were several other children, including Patrick, Thomas, and Timothy.

Does my greatgreatgrandmother, Katherine Greene, fit into this Greene family?

Your response would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Thank you for your offer. Could you please look up
births and marriages for the surnames above? My GGGGrandfather was Patrick Day b. around 1801 or so. He had at least one child, Thomas Day. We think they are from Clare County.
