Daniel's birth being before 1864 is a parish record. Civil
registration began in 1864. Records for civil registration are located on the Latter Day Saints website

Kerry's church parish records are on line with the Dept.of Heritage

Sugrue is an unusual name but surprisingly there are 267 occupants of land in the Griffith Valuation of Kerry in
1852. So probably only parents and grandparents of Michael and Catherine. There are 93 OBrien's.

Clogher is a townland in Co. Kerry in the following parishes

Ballymacelligott, Poor Law Union Tralee
Dunurlin, Union Dingle
Kilmoyly, Union Tralee
Kiltomy, Union Listowel

There are other variations for townland names such as Clogherbrien, Clogher More.....

If they are still in Ireland 1901/11 see the census:

There are still Sugrue's in the telephone book for Kerry
look for Clogher or Union names for the bigger towns, of course multitudous OBrien's.
