Hoolahan and Leitrim in Kerry

Surnames: hoolahan all variations
Hello
I am trying to trace a Hoolahan family=v ariations of the spelling of the name.
Mary Hoolahan in the 1861 Scottish census was listed as being born in Ireland with Leitrim beside the name She was born 1839
Does anyone have any suggestions as to my next step Her parents were Patrick and Mary nee Hugan
Anyhelp would be gratefully received

It seems that Mary Hoolahan was born in County Leitrim not in Kerry from the information you have. Perhaps you should post on the Leitrim board also.

Just realised that it might be the townland of Leitrim in Kerry which is in the R.C parish of Moyvane. You can look at the R.C. parish records on www.irishgenelogy.ie
