Salvatore Musumeci the son of Rosario Musumeci and Rosa Barbagallo, left his wife and two daughters in Italy, and came to Boston, Massachusetts with his son Charles Gaetano Musumeci. Charles married Nancy Dilettoso the daughter of Antonio Dilettoso and Maria Proietto. Nancy and Charles had 5 children, Helen Musmeci who married William Weiser, Richard Musmeci who married Anne Bernsen, Mary Rose Musmeci who married Peter Kosak, Nancy Musmeci who died as an infant, and Charles Musmeci Jr. Who changed his name to Charles Monte and married Trudi Spillane. Nancy had one brother Alfred Deletoso and one sister Mary Deletoso Alfonso. The Deletoso's lived in Rutland Vermont. Looking for any information on any of these people. Thank you Jmsbond002@aol.com

I grew up in Rutland, in fact we all lived on the same street. I know/knew the family very well, the Rutland family especially.

My maternal grandparents came to New York, Antonio Musumeci and Francesca (Campisi) Musumeci from Militello val de Catania. I do remember my mom telling me that Antonios Brothers went to Brazil... I Cant find any info from Italy to trace Musumeci or Scire Risichella... hope you have clues to find Italian records

There were several Musumeci families from the Trecastagni-area that immigrated to Lawrence, MA. Musumeci/Barbagallo are all native to that area in Catania (Trecastagni, Viagrande, Nicolosi, Pedara).

Hi Bill

are you familiar with the family of Rosario Musumeci? His mother was a Nicolosi. Rosario or Saro as he was called had a butcher shop. My grandfather Gaetano Alfio Coco used to go there with my Dad Sam when he was a kid to buy the meat for the family. My grandfather and Saro used to chat and talk about the old country. My Dad tells me that his father and Saro were cousins.

Do you know this family?
Best wishes David
