John Marshall(s) of Washington Co., early 19th century

In trying to research my Marshall line I'm trying to figure out which John Marshall is my ancestor from among the ones in the 1810-1830 U.S. censuses.

There are a few that are still being researched:

1) John Marshall in Calais in 1810

2) John Marshall in Lubec in 1820 and 1830 (I'm assuming these are both the same man, but could be two men)

3) John Marshall in East Machias in 1830

If anybody has information that can help me narrow down the possibilities, please let me know... information on birth, death, wives' names or children's names could help.

Thanks very much!

As an update, I've spent a lot of time on a recent genealogical research trip trying to narrow down the possibilities of who could be my ancestor. I started with about 8-10 John Marshalls in various parts of Maine. Many have been eliminated, or probably eliminated, from consideration. But, all three of these John Marshalls are still in the running... mostly because I have found very little information about them.

If you have any information about Marshalls in Washington County, Maine, please let me know.
