I'm looking for any info about Private James W. King, Company H, 7th Kentucky Cavalry, CSA. I am not kin to him (as far as I can tell!), but I recently purchased his original civil war "Oath of Amnesty and Allegiance" pass at a local flea market and I would like to find out a little more info about him. The pass was issued to him at Paducah, KY. On this pass, it states that James W. King was from Graves Co., KY, he was 5'0" tall, and had a dark complexion, dark hair and grey eyes.
Any info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Dave
