I am the grandson of Eliza Hipsher, born in Ball Point, Grainger County, 11-23-1874, died 1-7-1959. She married Henry James Wolfe, on 1-17-1892. They had 7 or 8 children. I would be interested in any info on the Hipsher side of the family. Send to Sam Wolfe, 216 Hane Ave., Marion, OH 43302, or e.mail me at the address above. Thank you.

I am searching info on my grandparents, Rosea Jane Hipsher married to Andrew Jackson Collins. Her parents' names were Wiley Hipsher and Mary Jane Shifley of Grainger Co. His parents were William Collins and Mary Jane Cantrell. He was a Baptist minister. I would love to hear from anyone else researching these names. You may e-mail me direct at Patricaannsnyder@cs.com

I have a Bassie Hipshire (1902-1940) who married Fanny Collett (1903-1965). They had three sons that I know of: Kenneth, Gene and Hershel. Fanny's mother was Mattie McGoldrick. Do you have any info on Bassie Hipshire? Would like to know who his parents were and the marriages and children of Kenneth, Gene and Hershel.

I'm not sure how we can help each other inless some how
we can connect your earliest Hipsher to mine in PA. but of
course you're ancestor might be the brother Adam that settled
in NC.

Any way I sure would like to see how our research matches?

There are lots of Hipshers living in Noeton community near Lakeshore Road in Bean Station at the present time. Look in the Morristown, TN phone book for listings.

My grandmother went with a gentleman named Harry Hipsher in Los Angeles in the 1950s and 60s. There is info about him at ancestry.com. I have a few photos.
