Samuel Giffen McIlwaine and Margaret Boyd , Carnmoney, Co. Antrim

Samuel Giffen McIlwaine was the son of James McIlwaine and Agnes Giffen who were married Feb 20,1835 in Carnmoney, Co. Antrim, Ireland. Samuel then married Margaret Boyd and they were living in Ballyduff in 1876 when Agnes' brother died (William Finlay Giffen). Samuel died Feb 29, 1884 in Glynn View Villas, Larne, Co. Antrim and Margaret died Nov 4, 1884 in Jordanstown. In her will, Margaret named three siblings - Sarah Elizabeth married to William Smyth, Richard Dawson Boyd, and Mary Jane Boyd. Does anyone have knowledge of this Boyd family, especially the parents? Or any knowledge of the children of Samuel McIlwaine and Margaret Boyd? Would be grateful for any information. Thank you
Peggy

Sorry, Sarah Elizabeth Boyd married Hugh Smyth, not William Smyth who was Hugh's father.

Fabulous! Thank you so much. Both of these were deceased in 1884 so won't be able to find them on the 1901 census for example to find out their dobs or children. Maybe didn't have any as Margaret only left things to her siblings in her will. Samuel died a few months before her but there are no copies of his will. Thanks again
