Most of my husband's immediate family has passed and they were all from Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland area. I can go as far back as Great-grandfather George McCauley. George's family was George, Isabella, William and Samuel. Samuel (grandfather) had George, Samuel & John and 2 stillborns. They lived on Shankill Hill Road and that is when my brick wall hits. Husband remembers a Uncle Hugh but we are not sure if it was Samuel wife's side or not.

Can you post a timeline for these people so I'll know where to hunt? Do you know when (and if) they emigrated to where? Ages on those people? I did find two George McCauley's in the 1908 Belfast Street Directory, one was a confectioner and the other a carpenter. Quite a few Preston's too, and other McCauley's. Google LENNON WYLIE and you can see yourself. Didn't live on Shankill Rd, but it doesn't mean they didn't live in that area.
