My husband's greatgrandmother was Augusta Froemming who married Gottfried Raddatz. They lived in Milwaukee since arriving in America in 1868. Hope this can help, we are still searching. Maybe we can exchange more info. Jean

Thomas Martin JOHNSON

I know very little and what I know is conflicting. Thomas was said to have
originally come from Norway just below Bergan. Thomas lived in NYC and
worked on the ships, he was Martha's second husband. Together they had one
son, Jan Edward, born Brooklyn 27 Nov 1925. I am not sure how long they
stayed together but my dad never remembered living with Thomas. Thomas
lived in Brooklyn and Martha and the children lived on Long Island.

Martha was said to have been born Sweden 17 Feb 1883/5. She said her
parents were Louis and Elisa. We believe Martha had a younger sister Ruth
who came from the Winconsin or Chicago area. Martha had another son, Norman from her
first marriage to Alfred Stensland.

Should anyone have any information on this line please contact me.

My great, great grandmother was Augusta Krueger. She married John Froemming and had three daughters: Ida, Elsie, Emma, and Anna (my great grandmother). I am not sure if this is related to your family, but if it is please e-mail me back. I am struggling to construct our family tree. I have pics, but little information.

The Martha PROWATZKE referenced the the Wisconsin Pre-1907 was named Martha Christine PROWATZKE and was born in Grafton, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin on 07 Feb 1883 and was never called 'Rose'. Therefore this probably is not the Louis BORCHARDT that you are looking for.
