I am looking for a Michael c Allen born limerick 1901 who went to live in Boston with an uncle michael f Allen. At lothrop st? Brighton mass. I know that this uncle lived there until the 1930s and was married to a Bridget Agnes. As I live in limerick I would be delighted to hear from anyone who knows this family. The limerick family were William Allen and sons painters and decorators.

Hi, can't see Michael C Allen on census US, but did find a Michael F Allen who was married to Bridget Agnes Considine, plus their children, plus other relatives. From their marriage cert there are Considines on both sides of the family. Lots of kids so there must be decendents out there you could try and find.

Thanks Bernice, I have found those census records and I know that Michael c Allen also lived in the states between 1907 and 1912 . He came back to Ireland in 1912 married my great grandmother in 1918 had two children and went to live with his uncle Michael f Allen in Boston in 1920 . Ireland was going through a civil war at the time and was a very tough place to live. He listed his wife Christina as his next of kin when travelling but that is the last record I have of him.
