I'm looking for information on the parents of Reddick Aycock, born about 1774 in NC, married to Frances Anderson in 1809. Came to Walton Co, GA in 1820's. I believe Reddick's father was named Robert, born in 1750 in NC. I'd also like to know if anyone can link this line of the family into their's.

Mary:
Is this the same Burrel Aycock who was born in Plattenville, Louisiana 1783, and married Anne Pauline Gautreaux? They had children Elise Rosalie Aycock, Armogene Felix Aycock and Onezime Theophile Aycock. If this is the same man, I am a direct descendant and would love to share information with you.

Is Simon Aycock of NC in the book? I am descendent of him and found my information in a hard cover book in my local library. In that book it stated that they could not trace any furhter back in the records available.

Simon married Elizabeth Bennett, both of North Carolina. Their son Burrell is the branch of the family that I am related to. Burrell was born about 1785 and this is as far back as the author of this book was able to get.

Thanks,
Mary Braud

Hi Cousin! I can't believe this....I have been looking everywhere for information on this man (Burrell Aycock) who I was previously advised was born in Plattenville, LA in 1783 (from a WFT file). I am the direct descendant Burrell, father of Elise Aycock who married Evariste Bertheaud (this is the first I have been able to learn that his actual name was John Baptiste Evariste Bertheaud and explains why information on him has been difficult to come by). Elise and Evariste Bertheaud had Adelle Bertheaud who married John Mahony and they had Estelle Mahony. Estelle married Ivy Rochel and they had Mary Alice Rochel, who married Victor Ernest Braud and they had Victor Ernest Braud, Jr. Victor Ernest Braud, Jr. married Wynnfred Holloman Leahy (aka Cora Lillian McCoy) and they had three children, of which I am the second.
Interesting your last name is Braud also. I will look up your relationship in the "A Breau Genealogy" to see how we connect there.
Thanks so much for your data and I would appreciate knowing any more about Burrell and his father Simon Burrell. Also about Evariste Bertheaud. Especially military history and specifics on where the data was obtained. I have Burrell in the war of 1812 in one book.
I will be very glad to share any information I have on my line of the family with you as well. My e-mail address is: awbj@prodigy.net
Kind Regards,
Alice Wynn Braud Jones
