Surnames: BLOOR, CADAGAN
My great great grandmother, Hannah Bloor was born in 1824 in Keele, Staffordshire and was christened there on 9th May 1824. Her father was Ephraim Bloor and her mother's name was Mary. Hannah married John Cadagan, who was from Cork, Ireland, in July 1850 in St John the Baptist church at Keele. I believe that both of them worked for the Sneyd family on the Keele estate.
Hannah had a son, Cornelius John Bloor (who I suspect was John's son since John's father was called Cornelius) born at Knutton Heath, Keele, registered on 25th April 1850. After her marriage to John, they had 4 children - Mary (b. 1852), William (b. 1855), Alfred (b. 1858) and James (b. 1861). Mary Cadagan was my great grandmother.
I would be interested in any information on Hannah's parents and descendants of her other children or of her siblings.

I have an ancestor who was Hannah Mear (b: 1826, Cheadle)apparently to a mother Hannah (1797, Cheadle), wife of George Mear (1797, Dilhorne). The elder Hannah later married Thomas Bloor, and the younger Hannah lived with them. In the 1851 Census she is still living with mother and step-father Thomas Bloor, at Stone. It would not be surprising if she was sometimes known as Hannah Bloor. And Cheadle is not so far from Keele, not sure about any overlap of administrative districts.
