Just read your post. My birth name is "Jarentowski." I have been unable to find any connection to my grandfather Franciszek who was supposedly born in Krakow around 1867. His parents were Mathew Jarentowsski and Barbara Lewandowska but that is all I can find out and I don't even know how accurate that is. So while I may not have a connection to you, I may have a connection to your wife.

I am interested in your wife's heritage. I, too, am a "Jarentowski". Any information you can provide on the family would be appreciated.

San Francisco, Córdoba, Argentina, September of 2009.
Good morning:
I hope you feel well, I apologize for bothering you this way, but I need to know some things about my relatives in Poland. Perhaps you know them or know who's to know or have some data.
First I want to tell you about my situation: I am only child of a marriage that took place in my country, Argentina, my mom was the daughter of Spanish and my father was Polish, arrived from Poland in the Second World War and some years later became one of its brothers.
The last thing I could tell is that in Poland was the whole family. Some of them emigrated to other countries but do not know which.
I think I'm the only one in this family, which exists in Argentina. I hope, sincerely and wholeheartedly, be quite wrong, and I think this is the quickest way to find a contact, a chance to establish a link with my roots.
I will give him my data and of my small genealogical tree:
ME: NAME: Félix Pablo JARMOLOWICZ
ADDRESS: Alte. Brown 244 - San Francisco (2400) - Córdoba - Argentina
TELEPHONE: 03564 - 422690 (the DDI depends on the country in that you are)
E - MAIL: pablovdan@yahoo.com.ar ó pablo_jarmo@hotmail.com

MI FATHER: their name: Félix (FELIKS) JARMOLOWICZ
MI UNCLE: their name: Miguel (MICHAL) JARMOLOWICZ
They came to this country around 1926, by ship...

MI GRANDFATHER: their name: YULJI JARMOLOWICZ
MI GRANDMOTHER: their name: ALEKSANDRA. . . . (Regrettably I cannot distinguish the letters in the passports, and I cannot give him correctly the last name)
Of them I have very few data that I can understand... I Wait not to have made any error when writing their names in Pole.

With this, simply, I want to be able to contact some person that knows more data of MY FAMILY."
If this person is you, or you know somebody that could make it, I ask him him to contact me as soon as possible and for the means that quicker I/you/he/she is him.
If it is not you, he/she would only thank him some lines, and me this way, I will be able to continue with my search.
Without another reason, I greet him very cordially, I apologize for the time that has invested in me, and I look forward to their contact.

MANY THANK YOU ! ! !

Hi, my maiden name is Jarentowski. I am trying to find any information on my family. Unfortunately all I know is my grandad's name was Leon Jarentowski and he had a brother called Alphonse. They came to England during WW2 possibly with the Polish Cavalry.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Amy.

There is a JARENTOWSKI board on Ancestry but no posts.

Someplace in your granddad's British documents should be his place of birth.
