Hello, my grandfather George Gibson Rackstraw was born in Sunderland in 1907 the son of James Lincoln Rackstraw and grandson of William Wigham Rackstraw. His great granfather was Robert John Baxter Rackstraw. I would be interested to locate any other Rackstraws from Sunderland.

Dear Julie,
You're easy to find!

Andy (Robb) reminded us lately that it's ten (!) years since we all met at LSE - it doesn't take much to bring on a bout of nostalgia in Mr.Parfitt. How are you, how many children do you have, did you marry Gavin!

Love,
Joe

Don't know who she is, if you knew her father's name I should be able to place her in the Rackstraw family. All Rackstraw in Sunderland seem to be related.

Hello T,

Just that I was hoping to find out without purchasing the marriage certificate!

Anyway, Thomas DOUGLAS lived in Duke Street North, Monkwearmouth.

As there were three RACKSTRAW families in Monkwearmouth in 1911 cencus I am unsure which one was her father, Robert, Robert Baxter or William RACKSTRAW? Possibly the man married to Jane H M RACKSTRAW?

Thanks for any assistance.

Rod

Robert Baxter Rackstraw was my great grandfather's cousin, although there were a few with the same name, but all related. Don't know who he married or the children.
