It's difficult to imagine the beta period logically ending before we've had a chance to test drive an improved interface with a search engine, better annotating features, etc.
On the other hand, what we have now is really all Ancestry plans to offer. :( Maybe the beta period is really just a period when they build up the database in order to be competitive.
And will Ancestry really bring this out of beta without letting us have our raw data, like at other companies? (Another feature that may need testing.) I know we paid less so we're getting less, but surely the rate will go up after beta, and surely Ancestry will want to be competitive and offer the raw data?
I used to be anxious for the beta to end so I could test everyone... now I'm anxious for the beta to end so I can decide where to get the rest of my family tested.
