Greetings, my name is Justin and just my subject states. I am curious as to what separates the jewish records from the regular census records from Ancestry?

they semed to be all mixed together. however if it says they spoke yiddish or hebrew that is a clue. not too much else. perhaps a religious occupation. if the side bar gives more-may be something re religion in draft card or a comment re burial site in jewish cemetery.

they do not make it easy for you.

Nothing. It's been a long standing mis-nomer by Ancestry. If you are looking for Jewish relatives in the US you probably want to look at the US Census. Hence they include the US Census in US Jewish records just like they include the Census in almost every other sub-set of ethnic / religious specific records.
