J. Wayne HOLLIDAY, 34, Rome City, died Saturday, June 4, 1944, at Vencor Hospital-LaGrange.
He was born October 2, 1959, in Kendallville, the son of James C. and Flora (RITCHIE) HOLLIDAY. He lived in the area most of his life, spending five years in Columbia, S.C. He was employed as a carpenter.
He married Melissa Jean BARRUS March 25, 1985, in Blackfoot, Idaho. She survives.
Other survivors include his parents of Rome City, three daughters, Tanya HOLLIDAY and Brittani HOLLIDAY, at home, and Candi HOLLIDAY, Mancelona, Mich.; a son, Jeremy HOLLIDAY, Mancelona, Mich.; two sisters, Nancy BRUCE, Rome City, Charlene CLARK, Wolcottville, four brothers, Clark HOLLIDAY and David HOLLIDAY, Kendallville, and Jason HOLLIDAY and Kedrin HOLLIDAY, Rome City.
Calling will be Wednesday, at Hutchins Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Harold North officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Rome City.
Preferred memorials are to the family.
