Seeking information on Samuel Crippen and spouse Esther Blodgett, as well as their daughter Amanda Crippen who married Omar Quimby. Amanda would have been born around 1800-1810, and would suggest Samuel born around 1770-80. Any dialog would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you have any additional information on the family of Samuel and Esther (Blodgett) Crippen - their children - when Samuel and Esther moved from Vermont - when they died?

I do not have further knowledge of Samuel and Esther (Blodgett) CRIPPEN, aside from their daughter Amanda who married Omer A. QUIMBY.

I can give you the path of migration for QUIMBY, who also originated from Vermont....you may find them in close proximity as the Westward migration evolves.

Path of migration of Benjamin QUIMBY [father of Omer]:

1800: Vermont
1810: Lunenburgh, Essex, VT.
1820: Irasburg, Orleans, VT.
1830: Harrisborough, Dauphin, PA
1840: Clinton, Lycoming, PA and also enumerated in Wolcott, Wayne, NY
1850: Pike, Knox, OH
1860: Dale, Outgamie, WI [see son Horace L. Quimby]
1862: died in WI

[Amanda and Omer Q settled in Green Lake county, WI, and later in Waupauca, WI., you can find full family data on their family in Kate Thomas' Ancestry World Tree]

I hope these will lend a clue for you to find more.
