Please give me some dates!

In my ancestry I have the daughter, Maria Elizabeth Dyer/Dwyer, (of an Elizabeth Ford who married an Owen/Eugene Dyer/Dwyer, in 1825, in the Parish of Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Ireland).

(Baptized on the 26th March, 1826, in the Parish Church of Croghan, outside the county town of Boyle, Co. Roscommon), by 1855, this Maria(Marie)Dyer/Dwyer was in N.S.W..(Australia) being a teacher in the gold-rush area of Bathurst, N.S.W..

There is some similarity there!
So please e-mail me at -

alidav@hotkey.net.auand let us discuss further!

Thanks for your reply. I know little or nothing about the Ford family except that my
grandmother, Elizabeth Ford, was born in
MIssouri, and lived in the little town of
Tipton. Irish ancestry is certainly a possibility. Don't have dates, sorry.

Classification: Query
John T. Sousley & Elizabeth Ford had a daughter Grace Inez
(8/9/1884-1932) who married James Lee Taulbee (4/11/1875-
2/27/1948). He is the son of James Madison Taulbee &
Charity Bradford. Grace and James had 3 children. Do not
know if Grace had any brothers or sisters and at this
time I haven't found the names of Grace's children due to
Privacy Act.

Hi Alison,
Saw your post. I have Ford/McDermott family from Aughrim, Roscommon, 1833
Also a Peter Dwyer as witness to Brennan/McDermott children, on the Boyle Paris records, 1840's.
Fords, Brennans, McDermott's all settled in Minnesota.
I have much history if you are interested.

I have Ford/McDermott family living in Missouri. The McDermotts came from County Cork but were originally from Co. Roscommon. The Ford we believe came from Co. Galway/Roscommon. They arrived in America around 1830. Need more information.
