I am not researching this family, and I know your message is a couple of years old, so you may already have this info. I did a little research for you and found that Dorothy Brotherton is the daughter of Clarence Chester Brotherton and Bessie Thompson, according to Dorothy's death certificate. Apparently, her husband Charles died at age 38 in a saw mill accident, and she then married Kenneth Burns. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at avalonseven@hotmail.com.

Google Bessie Thompson Horning. She was my stepgrandmother. She married J. Lee Horning. My mother Lucille was her step-daughter who is listed in their records and 4 Brotherton children were listed in some of their census records with their ages.
