Hello,

I am looking for Richard D. Hendricks. According
to family history he was born in 1839 in Patrick Co, VA and
died May 1927 at age 88 in Patrick Co, VA. He married Mary
Victory Deatherage. They had 8 children: Sampson Octavious,
Ella, Lilburn, Wallace, Myrtle, Abe Russell, Mary Elizabeth,
William Nettis. Also according to family history he fought
in the Civil War as a confederate. Does anyone have
any information on Richard? And, if not, do you have
some suggestions on how I could find out more about him
and his possible ancestors? Thank you in advance for
any help,

Ron,

I would be very interested in finding more information about
this Hendricks family. Family history says that Richard D.
Hendricks was the son of Jim Hendricks and Lisa Kerry/Cary.
I have never been able to verify this. So, could you tell me
how to find out more about the James Hendricks (son of
Zacariah Hendricks) that you mention above? Do you have
details on his children or any pointers. Supposedly the Jim
Hendricks I am trying to find had the following children:
James, John, Richard and Martha, based on family history
again.

I would love to get more information on this family.
Thank you very much for replying to my posting and I look
forward to corresponding with you.

Are the Henndricks (Zachariah or others) relate to those in Stokes County in the early 1800's? They included Nicholas, David, William, and perhaps Moses. Nancy Hendricks married Elijah Harrold April 20, 1812 in Stokes, and we believe that he died in Patrick County in 1850, according to the Mortality Schedule of the 1850 Census. Could anyone help?

Zachariah Hendrick from Patrick County is my gggg grandfather. My research on this family shows that son James married Lucy EKLUM. I have a death certificate for Permelia Hendrick showing that as her mother's name. My gg grandfather was William DANIEL Hendrick, Permelia's brother. He died in the Civil War, so there was no death certificate available for him. He married Jane Willis, daughter of Greenville Willis. Please e-mail me if you'd like my information on the lines I have researched.
