Plymouth Republican, Thursday August 19, 1897
Death of James Bradley
Monday morning at about six o'clock James Bradley of Polk township breathed his last, having suffered for some time from a complicated disease.
He was 78 years of age and had lived in Polk township since 1860, in which year he removed from Clinton county and bought land near Tyner. Having been a hardworking farmer all his life he cleared up several pieces of land in Polk township and made good farms of them. His wife, who survives him, is his second wife. He was the father of twenty-two children, ranging in age from sixty-four years down to four years, sixteen of whom are now living. He and three of his sons served in the army. The funeral services were held at Tyner Tuesday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Snyder of the U. B. church officiating.---
I am hoping to connect with some of his other decendants. With all those children there must be lots of them, hopefully some of which will read this.

My father is Conrad T. Bradley, and his father was Ellsworth C. Bradley, Ellsworth's father was Bert, who was one of many of James B. Bradley children. I have so much information that was collected prior to using computers. From the National Archives, Civil War Pension files, and lots of family photographs copied on a copy stand with my Grandmother's memories and help over 25 years. I am the eldest daughter from Conrad's first marriage. Rebecca Ann Bradley b. 1951
I have a family member who I use to work with on this line her ancestors were from another one of those many children that James Bradley of Tyner had. Let me know what I can do. I live in Maryland but grew up in Plymouth so I do make trips back there.

Rebecca,
Please email me at jml9080@yahoo.com. I would love to hear from you. I have put several Bradley Family pictures collected from generous family members in my Ancestry tree. My great great grandfather was Jacob Bradley, Bert's half brother.
