She was born June 13, 1810 to Richard & Mary Lake Cross in what is now Taylor Co., WV They settled in Wood Co. and had the following children. My grandfather is Max Evan Davis born 7/14/1913 in Onslow Jones Co. Iowa and his father is Evan Fred Davis born 8/24/1864 in Parkersburg Wood Co. West Va. His father was John W Davis born 11/10/1829 Harrison Co. Va. His father was Middleton Davis born on 1/19/1806 in Parkersburg Wood Co. Va. I have a little more info. but you might already have it. Let me know and I'll send you what I have from my uncle which he has traced down to be correct. States in report where he got it. I'd love to see what you have..

I will guess that Middleton Davis, husband of Nancy Cross, is the same as Middleton Davis, mentioned as grandson in the 1811 will of Jonathan Davis of Franklin County, Virginia.
