My gggrandmother was Catharina Boehm.
(November 01, 1841-December 03, 1918). She
was Catholic. Married George Ott.
Katharina Boehm was born November 1, 1841
in Bavaria, Germany--on her death certificate
her father is listed as Thomas Bolker--she
married George Ott and they lived in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin..She died
December 3, 1918--anyone related to this
line???

One of Catharina's daughters was Anne Ott,
she married a George Ott in Milwaukee, WI.
I have an old autograph book of hers which
lists a "Rosie Boehm" as a cousin...
I am also researching the following related
German/Prussian/Baverian/Luxembourg names:
Becker, Bittner, Boehm, Bolker, Hoppe,
Klienschmidt, Kraus, Linger, Meerschaert,
Michels, Ott, Schottler, Schramm,
Shubert, Tiegs, Wendte;
and the following Polish-German names:
Czyaplewski, Garski, Geyso, Hilkoske (Hills),
Jurska, Kujath, Lazinski, Nowak,
Rogowski (Rogers), Visniskie, Wisniewski
(Wise) and Witkowski. Please contact me if
you have any related families.
Thank you,
Susan

Katherine Ott's (née Boehm) death notices were published in Milwaukee's German newspapers and possibly in the English language papers too (they're not necessarily the same). There are 260+ Ott and 175+ Boehm / Böhm entries in the growing data file.
