I would like to contact the relatives of Arcini Crespin, he was my uncle and he and his family have the background information about the origin of my Crespin name.
my father and mother married, I was born and he split... just like that, so I never knew my fathers family or my origin.
Just thought t'would be nice to have that info.......then again I might just gasp.

My father is named Arcini Crespin Jr. My grandfather was also named Arcini Crespin and was from N.M. I don't know a whole lot about his origins but I do know that he was married twice.

I know my father had a brother named Arcini, I never knew my grand parents on either side of my family, and all I know of my father's brother Arcini was that he had a grocery store on lipton st. in Denver, Colorado and that is all i can conjure from my memory banks. also I know that my father (Russell Crespin) had a store in Santa Fe, NM, something called a "cleaners and dyers"?
thank you Noel, for this and any future input
thank you again

My grandfather Arcini Sr. was a butcher on 14th and Lipan just down the street from his house. He was married to a woman named Mary. I'm not sure of her maiden name he had three sons and two daughters. Their names are Bill, Anna, Danny, Arcini Jr. and Yvonne. The only thing that I know of my grandfather's parents is that my great-grandmother was a full-blooded Cheroke Indian. I'm not sure if any of this helps, but who knows.

TRULY...
RIC
P.S. NO WONDER THEY NAMED ME LITTLE WOLF, ALL OF MY EARLY YEARS THEY TOLD ME I WAS MESCALERO INDIAN. WHO KNOWS?

Arcini Sr. is dead unfortunately. He died about 6 or 7 years ago. His wife Mary is also dead. I have been thinking, I'm not sure if the ages are right. You said that you had grandchildren and great-grandchildren if I'm correct. I myself am 26 and my father is 56. My grandfather Arcini Sr. died when he was about 75 and that was like I said 6 to 7 years ago. The ages might still match, but I thought you might like to know. If it doesn't match up I'm sorry for getting your hopes up. My father and his side of the family don't exactly get along with each other and so I haven't talked to him about it.

Noel you may have helped more than you know, i will, however; need more data to advance my findings, my father was born circa 1905-1910 your great grandpa was as you suggest, born on 1918, and as i understand it was a large family, so it kinda gibes.
you are in all probability my father's brother's grandchild. gadzooks! it boggles the mind.
ah well, onward and upward!
thank you Noel, very much for your time and effort, please continue if you obtain other data, or know someone i can contact, i assure you i am discrete.
thanks

Noel: one more question please, which of the arcinis had a brother named Russell? that was my father's name, and he had a brother named Arcini, a sister-in-law named Jetty Crespin who had a son named Paul who went on to become an attorney, and a daughter named Pauline and I dont know what career path she chose, I do know however that they were all very red-headed, at this point I dont know any thing about my Crespin heritage, other than they came from new mexico and that they were european, from my research they could have been french, german, english, scandinavian or spanish.
the Crespin name is popular in these countries, there is even a RUE CRESPIN in paris france, imagine that! but I digress so I shall close.
thanks
as ever

Wayne, spoke with Archie tonight and that is how I found out about the Arcini search. Gave Archie E-Mail address at work because I very seldom look up any messages at home.
Ric, my father comes from Las Vegas, NM and came to Denver probably back in the 30's. I am the last of the Arcini's as far as I know. He also had only brothers and Russel rings a bell but I am not sure. The other brothers were Ernie and Rudy and Rudy passed away when he was bery young. I believe he died while in the Navy. Ernie married Jetty and had maybe three daughters and one son, Paul. The one I see most oftern is Bella, married to Bob Sanchez. The rest I do not see very often. The youngest is Veronica and she is married, but I cannot remember his name. I have brothers by the name of Bill and Danny, sisters Anna and Yvonne. I also have a cousin in Las Vages, NV. who the last time I saw him had a very extensive history on the family, but I have never seen him again and do not remember his name. My mothers name was Mary. Let me know if any of this rings a bell
