I am searching for info about my Dad's family whom I never knew . My grandfather was Joseph Falgout. I am told he was a fisherman. My dad's name was Herbert Felecian Falgout. He had two brothers that I know of, maybe more. Don't know about sisters. Brothers were Sydney and Leon. I'm sure my grandparents were deceased when I was born. There is so much I'd like to know! Did you find any information? I know this was posted a long while ago, but I have access to a book listing many of the Falgout and Falgoust's dating back to France. I believe we have several Joseph's in our line, if you care to check out my family tree.

Hi Elizabeth, My name is Elizabeth as well. My father was Del Loyd Falgout. There were about 7 siblings in all including a brother by the name of Sidney, also, Oscar & Marshall. I know there was a sister named Alice. Sorry I don't have the list with me. My grandfather I beleive was Omer or Omar Falgout he married Ann or Alice Landry. After having a million kids that they could not support they divorced. She spoke only French. My father Del, Oscar and Marshall left LA when they were 13, 12, 11 or there abouts for the west coast to make a living. Del and Oscar joined the Army. We don't know if they were of age or not. It was a sad life. My dad died in California in 1968 and I think Oscar died in 1970.
