There was a woman whose maiden name was Harris who married a Tull from Tulls Corner, Maryland. Anyone who has any information about this couple or any Tulls from Pocomoke City or Tulls Corner, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Shawn.
I am the sister of Laila, whose e-mail you responded to back in January. Have you received any additional information from her? I currently live outside of Atlanta know that there are some Tull's in this area who had parents/grandparents from the Pocomoke City area, also.

Please let me know what you've found out so far (if anything).

Hope to here from you soon.

Karen

I'm Yazmin Tull. YOu might have heard my name before. Right now I'm in Kosovo for this country. I have relatives in Philadelphia who gave me my last name. I am African American with a light skin tone. They tell me because of my hair that I have Indian in my family. My aunt speaks fluent Spanish(Puertarican). I haven't communicated too much w/ that side anymore every since I was 10 yrs. I know Alonzo Tull who went to high school with me two years ago. I want to know so bad what it is that gives me this hair and what I'm really mixed with. Please respond and do research with me.

Yazmin

I am an ancestor of Nicholas Tull, Sr. who was born in Maryland. Nicholas Tull, Jr. had son named Nicholas Tull III. Nicholas III had son named Abraham who ultimately wound up in the State of Arkansas. Abraham was my Great Great Grandfather. I am vacationing in the Virginia Eastern Shore Area (7/17/09). Saw a sign for Tulls Corner Road today. Wondering if we are related. Carla Tull Tunnell Email: carontunnell@gmail.com

Hi there - I was wondering if you ever found any more information on your Tull relatives? Do you know anything about Sophia Tull, wife of William Tull? There are a few forgotten stones in a small patch of woods (Bishopville, MD - Worchester county). Sophia lived from 1787 - 1871 and on the headstone it says wife of William Tull. It's always bothered me no one knows who they are so I've been trying to research these folks. Thanks, Andrea

I am Fadia. I served as the secretary/admin assistant to Dr. David Adolphus Tull at the Tuskegee VA Medical Center, in Tuskegee, AL from 1979-1988. Dr. Tull was originally from Philadelphia. He had 3 children - David Tull, Jr., Lelaini Tull, and the other daughter I just cannot remember her name. He was the Administrator of the VA in Tuskegee and was known throughout the country as "King David." He was a brilliant man. He passed on the VA grounds around 1986. His remains were shipped back to Pocomoke, MD for burial. He was short in statue, very dark skinned, African American man. His daughters, however, were sort of light skinned, short, spoiled and precious. He was married then to Mable White Tull, from North or South Carolina (?). She still lives in Tuskegee. I understand that David Jr. committed suicide a few years after Dr. Tull died.

I would like to locate Dr. Tull's family and share with them. I am who I am in life right now because of the tutoring and guidance of my former boss. He was like a father me. Some things I did not understand back then I fully understand what he was saying now. I also try to mentor young folks today.

Anxiously waiting! Dr. Fadia (Boykin) McGhee

Dr. David Adolphus Tull was my father's first cousin. They were pretty close; my Dad always spoke of his cousin David fondly. My older brother spent some time in Tuskegee visiting big David, little David and the girls during the summer of 1979. My cousin Lelani has an account with ancestry.com. I have contacted her about your messages; hopefully she will get back to me or contact you directly.

Best Wishes-Alexandra Latham
