I am trying to determine/confirm information regarding the migration of Faucetts to Orange County Indiana from Orange County North Carolina. Two sons of William Faucett 1749-1815, George and James, migrated to Indiana in 1831/32.

My interest is their sister, Eleanor Faucett Love, is my GG-Grandmother. William Love, Eleanor's brother in law, moved to Orange Cnty IN 1860 and stayed with an uncle. I am trying to determine who was the uncle.

Hello.

I don't have an answer to your question, but wondering if you have information regarding John Fletcher Faucett, born in Indiana 1855, died in Kansas 1930. He might be the son of Timothy and Sara Faucett of Indiana. Perhaps he is a relative of whom you are looking for. John married Mary Belle Whiteman.

Cheryl,

I do not have a John Faucett b. Dec 1854 as stated in the 1900 census. I do not have any Timothy Faucett's. The Faucett's I am following came from North Carolina and it appears yours were Pennsylvania/Ohio to Indiana, Illinois then Kansas. Sorry I could not help.
