Look up help please for Waukesha Springs Sanitarium 1919

Classification: Query
Surnames: Hills, Tanner
Not sure how to find this particular information, have tried many research avenues. Looking for any assistance in how to find someone who was employed or a student nurse at Waukesha Springs Sanitarium in 1919. Looking for information or possible photographs of Bertha Hills (or Tanner) who is listed as a nurse employed at the Waukesha Springs Sanitarium in the 1919 City Directory for Waukesha. Unable to find any research avenues to verify her status of employment or student nurse status at this facility. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find this information on a now long closed private sanitarium, if so, I would appreciate any help, assistance, or suggestions on how to access records or archives from this institution. Have no clue in this query. Thanks so much to anyone who may be able to help me with this!

Have you tried the Waukesha County Historical Society? I would think they would know where to look. You should also check the Waukesha County list here for other posts. Maybe others are working on this place in one form or another.
Do you know if the Sanitarium was was city or county run, rather than private? If so, there should be city or county records for it.

Of course newspaper articles might also be useful. Not sure if any of the Waukesha papers have been indexed, but I would check. Again the Waukesha Co. Historical Society should know the answer to that.

Sorry I can't help any more than that right now, but I haven't really done any Waukesha research personally.

Good Luck!
