I am travelling to Norway this summer and hope to connect with any living relatives of my Grandfather, Ingemund Eriksen and his brothers Erik and Viar who immigrated to Us/Canada around 1908.

According to emigration lists from Bergen, these three emigrated on 17 Apr 1907:

Thom Eriksen Severeide, born 1858 in Skaanevik
Viar Olaj Eriksen Sævereide, born 1884 in Skaanevik
Ingemund Olaj Eriksen Sævereide, born 1890 in Skaanevik

It does not say if Viar and Ingemund are sons og Thom. It does says that Thom was only visiting in Norway and now returning to the US. Their destination was Minnesota

Erik Ingemund Eriksen Sævereide left Bergen for Elliot, Illinois, on 20 Feb 1907. Jonas Eriksen Sævereide left Bergen for Elliot, IL on 18 Jun 1912 to join his family.

The farm "Sævereide" is located in Skånevik, in Hordaland.

Your tree lists "Kyrping" as the birth farm for Eri Eriksen, born 2 Feb 1887.

His birth record says he was also born at Sævereide:

Thank you for the information you posted regarding my relatives it is very helpful What I would really like is information about the siblings that stayed in Norway, Lars and Gurina and Jonas (who went back to Norway), where did they live, did they marry, when did they die, did they have children- I cannot seem to find this information anywhere I have looked. According to this census, Gurine was born September 16, 1885. Here is the burial of a Gurine Elisabeth Danielsen, with the same birthdate:

Their mother, Brita Viersdatter Sævereide, b. 1858 d. 1926 is buried at the Førde gamle (old) Cemetery (same one as Lars).

Now, to find out if any of them had children! You'd probably have to search the Skaanevik Parish marriage and baptismal records...unless you can find them on familysearch!

However, Norwegians are pretty faithful about keeping up gravestones (planting flowers, trimming, etc.). I would have to say some of the plants around the above headstones look a bit overgrown. :(

Only one of your grandfather's siblings who stayed in Norway married. Lars, born 1888, married Marta Meland b. 1889 and lived on Haavarsholm in Sveio. They had 4 children:
Brita 1925-, Haldor 1927-, Einar 1930- and Klara 1932-.
