My gg-grandfather was Samuel Hendricks. His children were Thompson-Jane-William-Catherine. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

I noticed your message of looking for Samuel Hendricks, and I too have been looking for a Hendrick family. Do you know of a Rebbeca Ann Hendrick from that same area of Kentucky. The reason I ask is that on the marriage license for my gg grandfather and grandmother (George Washington Owen Rebecca Ann Hendick) that a Samuel Hendrix signed the marriage bond on Jul 05, 1851 in Daviees County. I thought this odd to have had thesee two spellings together and to have not been related. E-mail me back if this peaks your interest.

In the ancestry files on my wife's side of the family I have a Samuel Hendricks, abt 1842). I believe Samuel is from around the Paris, TN Hazel, KY area, (southwest KY).
I have no descendants for Samuel only siblings and a father Daniel and GF William. William is buried in the William James Hendricks Cemetery in Paris, TN. If this looks like a match for you then email and I will share more info.

I also show 3 William Hendricks, (1) b, 3/1761, (2) abt. 1810, and (3) b, 1833.
