I am looking for historical info about the following farms in Balestrand and Leikanger parishes. Jordal, Mundal, Supphellen, Fjaerstad, Boyum, Liedahl, and Oygaarden i Ese.
If you have ancestors from these locations, I am interested in their histories and the people who lived there. Thank you!
I am a descendent of Kield Paulsen Mundal and Magnild Knudsdatter Liedal, both born in 1795.

There are published books about the history and genealogy of Balestrand and Leikanger. They were of course written in Norwegian -- but I've used similar books with great success by adding a good Norwegian-English dictionary to my personal reference collection and working at translations of the parts pertinent to my own research.
