I am researching my Carmical ancestry & it has lead me back to Watervalley, Ms. After the Civil War John Carmical walked 100 miles to Watervalley, Ms. where his parents (Spencer & Anna Carmical) lived. He had a brother Thomas Lee.
John Carmical married Nancy E. True on 1 August 1869.
The Carmicals, James Clements family, & Samuel Huston Herron family left there & came to Arkansas.
Does anyone have ANY information about ANY Carmicals that might have lived there or is living there.
Thanks,
Marvin

I have information re: descendants of James Wesley Carmichal, older brother of John, which I would be happy to share if anyone is interested. James married Laura Starnes about 1856 in Yalobusha Co., & they had 10 children. I wonder, Chris, if you can tell me anything about the family of Laura STARNES. Thanks.
