A newer local resource has at least one clear match for your Brandt family: "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). That would be for Rosalina Brandt, née Kuehl. There are also entries for a Richard Brandt. There are about 450 Brandt entries or references; and about 130 Kuehl Kühl Kuhl Kühle Kuhle Kuehle entries or references in the growing data file.
