Hi! I am Sara, and I was born in Little Rock, AR. My dad, Edward Fullerton, was born in Mountain Home, MO. His parents, John and Dorothy, moved to Texas when my dad, the 2nd oldest, was 3. They have 5 kids: Linda, Edward, Sandra, Charles, and Judy. I have been told that our descendents were Irish, Welsh, German, and English. I have just recently become interested in geneaology, so please feel free to contact me with any questions about birthdays or stuff like that. I also have family in Virginia, California, and Missouri that I know of.

Hi, Sara! My name is Susie Pooley. My maiden name was Fullerton I am in Virginia. I don't know of any relatives in Texas or Arkansas, but I do have a distant cousin or two in California. My ancestors William Fullerton Sarah Cooley Fullerton first came to New York from Dublin, Ireland in the late 1700's. They settled in Wawayanda, Orange County, New York. My gggrandfather, Peter Pine Fullerton, came to Fairfax County, Virginia around the 1870's. My niece has a friend, Missy Fullerton, whose relatives are out west somewhere. We're not sure, but think she is some relation to us, as I believe, both of our grandfathers had sandy red hair. I've also been told that her brother resembles our family. I hope that some of this info is helpful to you. Let me know, please.

Thanks for the reply! In regards to Missy; is Missy short for Melissa? I have a cousin in VA named Melissa. My grandpa has red hair also! Of course, that's probably not rare in families with Irish heritage. I don't know much about my grandfather Fullerton's family; most of the information I've found pertains to my grandmother's family.

Hi, Sara!
It was good to hear from you! I'm pretty sure that Missy is short for Melissa. Does your cousin live in the Stafford, Virginia area? Is she around 20 years old or so?

Sarah,
It's me again! I also forgot to mention that I also have a couple of relatives in California. I don't actually know them. I have e-mailed one of them. Her last name is not Fullerton, but is a descendant of the Fullertons. The other is my first cousin, once removed, Carl David Fullerton. Do you know him?

Sara,
I'm pretty sure we are talking about the same Melissa. I'll talk to my sister or my niece to find out for sure.
