I am doing research on my Gr-Gr-GrGrandfather
John G. ANDREWS of Richmond, VA. He was married 1 Mar. 1838 to Araminta Robinette CHARTER of the CT CHARTER's. He later married a Julia BIRCHETT. Julia and John and Araminta and many of their children and other family members, I have yet to identify, are all buried in the ANDREWS plot at the Hollywood Cemetary in Richmond, VA.

I would really like more information on these BIRCHETT's. I have found information on several lines of BIRCHETT's which all seem related to one another in VA and they appeared to be quite wealthy, but cannot connect any of them to John and Julia. I believe my John G. ANDREWS my have also been well-to-do.

Any information would be most welcome.

I have information back to the Birchett's of
Prince George County dating back to the late
1700's. My family history includes from Peter
Birchett to the present. I am not sure I

I believe I am related to Julia Birchett. My uncle traced our roots back to early 1700s. As far as he could go without having to go to Germany. There our name was Burchard as his research found it means "strong castle". "All" who are named "BIRCHETT" are related.

Today I received a book called "The Social Record of Virginia". I found it online. On page 31 it says:
"ANDREWS, Mrs. John G., 2607 Monument Avenute, Richmond, (Julia Birchett, Prince George County). William Birchett Andrews; Julia Birchett Andrews. (Their two children)
