Robert Garvin b. 1820 Ireland came to live in Pennsylvania,
became a surveyor and ended up in Flint District, Indian Territory, Cherokee Nation(near Sallisaw, Oklahoma, USA).
He went to horse sales with Judge Franklin Faulkner; where he started his first herd of horses and cattle. He
met and married twice; 2 women and had children by both. He was killed by bushwackers near Muldrow,
Oklahoma. His wife Nancy Choate then married and became Judge Franklin Faulkner's 4th
married 1st wife-Margaret Rae, (Cherokee) 3 sons Walter, Robert, ? /Robert's daughter Betty married a Bush
family connected to Sam Ed Bush Sallisaw, Oklahoma
married abt 1848 Cherokee Tribe, Indian Territory, Native American 2nd wife-Nancy Choate,
one son Benjamin Franklin Garvin.
Benjamin Franklin Garvin b. 1854 Hanson, Indian Territory, Cherokee Nation
He had a cattle ranch. He married 3 times, and had children (9 total)by all of them. He died around 1945.

The Amos family lived in Georgia; then moved to Sallisaw. It has been told that
they were black dutch. Jack and Altarila had 12 children. Some of their names
were Ela, John, Susan, daughter Claud, daughter Jose, Jessie Belle,
