My grandmother Minnie Smith was born abt. 1884 and she was married to Robert H Wightman in NewYork. I believe she has indian ancestors. My father Royce ( her son ) was born in 1903. I haven't been able to find out much about her. Her mother who is Josephine and her son Wallace died in a house fire in Smiths Hollow Newyork abt. 60 years ago. Let me know if you are able to make a connection.

Sara, There sure are a lot of Minnie Smiths. I will keep your message for future reference. I think my grandmother may have had a brother Wallace, but I don't know of any sisters. Thanks for your message.

My great-grandfather was a Rev. James Smith. He was a Baptist minister in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, and I'm not sure where else. I know the names of his children but they are not as you listed. They are George, Lozell, Edith,Bina Laura, and Velna.
