Sandra, Thanks for all the Lockwood names. I am just getting started. I will keep them for future reference. Chauncey Lockwood's dates are 1830-1907. I am not positive about the 1830. It could be 1835. He lived in Monroe County. Rochester. Horace Lockwood has also been mentioned, located in the Albany area. He may be Chauncey Lockwood's father. Thanks again. Pat Lockwood Greene
Have you ran across a Joseph and Cordelia Lockwood in your
research. Joseph was born in 1809 in Rensselear Co NY
He married Cordelia ? and is listed in the 1855 census as living in Greece NY I can't find out who his parents were.
His son Wharton was my ggrandfather. Please let me know if you run across any information

She was the daughter of Wharton and Cordelis Lockwood. She had Sisters Cordelia ( m Cleary of Brockport) Grace ( Meinhart) Margaret, & Mary ( who married Clancy, and Doty, not sure who to who ) and 2 brothers Joseph and William.
Her Father Whartons parents were Joseph B 1809 and Cordelia

Wharton married Margaret Burns Lockwood who lived into her 90s and is buried in Paddy Hill Cemetary Joseph and Cordelias children were: Marshfield ( died at 10 yrs old) Frances b 1836,Caroline, b 1842, Wharton b 1849 d 1/17/1917 Thats as far back as I can get. Donna
I have not come across any information on Joseph Lockwood but if I should I will let you know. There was a William Lockwood who lived in Webster at one time and an Edward Lockwood who lived in Greece in Monroe County
Seeing all this new mail about the Lockwood heightens my hopes that I might someday find my GR-GR-grandparents.
